Why do some hate more than others? (D) Terry Dashner………………………..Faith Fellowship Church in Broken Arrow, OK In this paper I’m going to bullet nations that hate some nations more than others. Many countries have one or two enemies they have been fighting since ancient times. Why do they continue to fight each other over and over without any measurable results? Why can’t they just call it even and stop the fighting for good? Let’s look at this. •The first bullet highlights the continuing struggle between East and West. The East and West have had awkward relationships since the first century A.D. The West was highly influenced by the Roman Catholic Church from the fall of Rome until the Protestant Reformation in the 16th century. On the other hand, the East was mostly a hodgepodge of paganism until the 7th century. When the Muslims came out of the deserts of Saudi Arabia to conquer the world in the name of Allah and had not Charles Martel stopped them at the Battle of Tours, I would not be writing about the conflict between the East and West. The West would have joined the Asians (by force of course) in surrendering to Islam and the Islamic republic. The struggle today between the two is really not religious but political. Islam can not have the world influence it seeks without establishing an Islamic republic in the nations it dominates (under the guise of a peaceful religion of course). •The second bullet showcases the Middle East mess. The conflict of the ages will climax in Israel. This is according to the Bible. I have no reason to doubt that. The hate goes back to ancient Bible days. Abraham had two sons. One was the son of promise—Isaac. The other was the son of Hagar, a handmaid to Abraham’s wife, Sarah. Both rightfully claim Abraham as his father, and that’s the problem today. The Jews are descended from Isaac the son of promise with a promised land called Israel. The Arabs of today are descendents of Ishmael and feel slighted by the Jews ostensibly because the Jews have what they think is theirs (and family feuds can get nasty). The struggle and fighting between the Jews and Arabs will continue until the end of the age. There will be periods of fragile peace, but it will always give way to more fighting eventually. (I say this because of my Bible beliefs.) •The third bullet highlights some of the ancient eastern cultures that were not given national boundaries when Europe and her allies carved out a world map after the First World War. If you remember your history, President Wilson put together the League of Nations which was, in some ways, a forerunner to the United Nations. Although the US Senate would not ratify Wilson’s League of Nations, the powers that won the war went ahead and carved up the old Ottoman Empire. Nations like Turkey, Afghanistan, Pakistan, and etc., became boundaries of sovereign nations. There was one problem with the drawing up of nations. Some ancient cultures like the Kurds got nothing. The Kurds found themselves strewn across several new countries without a voice. That’s why people from Pakistan hate the Kurds, simply because the Kurds hate them. •The forth bullet marks the fall of English and French colonialism in Asia and Africa in the 19th and 20th centuries. When they pulled out of various nations because the nation’s minerals and other natural resources were exhausted, a vacuum was created in the nations they left behind. Because of the poverty, anarchy, and political corruption that followed, many of these nations started killing each other simply because there was no order or control. Some became wars of genocide. Some became wars of ethnic cleansings. Some became wars for political control. But all were and still are violent, having murdered millions of civilians throughout the decades. •I am concerned that if I carry this writing further, I will lose you because of the killings. It’s sickening and very discouraging, especially if you think world peace is a real possibility in your lifetime. Personally, I believe there will be no true peace on a world level until the Prince of Peace returns to Israel. When Jesus returns to earth, the weapons of war will be melted down to plowshares. The Peacemaker Himself will rule over us and keep the peace on His terms. That will be perfect peace because of His perfect justice which He will employ from the Holy City of Jerusalem. With this document, I’ve given you a sampling of the reasons why some nations hate other nations more than any other nation. Time doesn’t allow me to speak regarding Asians and Southeast Asians. I could tell you about the big dragon, China, and her ancient and modern enemies, namely Taiwan. I could speak for a long time about the hate India has for Pakistan. This conflict is very scary because both countries have nuclear weapons. I could speak about the religious and ethnic animosity in Indonesia, the Balkan mess, the Russian days of Stalin, Northern Ireland’s religious war, South America, Haiti, and even racism in the United States. Nevertheless, suffice it to say the world is alive and frustrated with hatred. But of course that’s no great revelation. I realize that. But I think I do have some revelations about why we hate and continue to hate the same people over and over again. In my next document, I’m going to take you through the Bible and point out hierarchy of principalities and certain demonic powers that have ruled and are still ruling certain nations, tribes, and territories today. I’m going to write about territorial spirits and strong men of vile violence that rule over nations and tribes today. Unless these demonic authorities are bound by the greater authority, they will continue to cause hate and destruction until Jesus returns. Since the decade of the ‘90s many theologians and evangelists have been organizing 24/7 intercessory prayer strategies across the globe to bind these territorial spirits. When the strong man of a country or area is bound by the prayer of intercession through the name of Jesus, the Gospel can be disseminated with little interference. When the Gospel is preached freely, people come to Jesus by the masses. This is the day in which we live. This is the day just before Christ’s return to earth. Before He comes, revelation will flow like water on how to bind up the hate through binding the hands of the demons assigned to nations. This binding through spiritual revelation will free up the preaching of the Gospel message which will fulfill the prophecy of Jesus in the 24th chapter of Matthew. This gospel of the Kingdom must be preached around the world as a witness and then the end shall come. Keep the faith. Stay the course. Jesus is enlisting prayer warriors now—won’t you sign up?
